Samsung has asked US courts to make Apple hand over prototypes of its iPad 3 and iPhone 5 as a patent infringement battle heats up.
According to Reuters, the move has come after the courts forced Samsung to give Apple several sample versions of forthcoming Galaxy phones and tablets, following an allegation by Apple that Samsung had “slavishly” followed its designs.
“It would put Samsung at a significant disadvantage in this litigation if the Court allowed Apple access to Samsung's future products ... but prevented Samsung from gaining access to Apple's future products so that it could prepare its defense,” read Samsung’s motion.
