Rock has launched the Xtreme SL8 17 inch notebook, delivering what it claims to be the world’s most powerful graphics available in the format. The gaming notebook comes loaded with a quad core processor and up to a terabyte of RAID hard disk space, and will be on ale from mid-February with prices ranging from £2500 to £3500.
“It’s all about raw power” said Nick Boardman, CEO of rock, “The SL8 packs four Intel Core 2 processor cores, two NVIDIA 8800M GTX SLi graphics cards, three 7200rpm SATA hard disks and all the trimmings to boot”.
