Research In Motion is holding a press launch for its new BlackBerry smartphone over in New York. I'm sitting here in a central London venue watching it via simulcast. Such is the way of modern technology journalism.

Anyway, AT&T and RIM are introducing "the best BlackBerry ever", explains AT&T boss Ralph de la Vega, kicking the event off.
He also talks about AT&T's network investment, and boasts that "more smartphone users choose AT&T than any other carrier" - this is in the US presumably.
