Research in Motion has reported strong international sales, with quarterly revenue growing by 18 per cent year-on-year, although that fell slightly short of predictions.
Accroding to ZDNet, the maker of Blackberry reported overall revenue of $4.08 billion and Net income was $710 million, compared to $518 million for the same quarter last year. Analysts had forecast revenue of $4.31 billion.
In a conference call, RIM’s co-chief executive officer Jim Balsillie hinted at a number of new product releases later this year, but refused to elaborate, saying: “If you saw the roadmap, you'd be blown away.”
