Component retailer and distributor Quiet PC has signed a deal with Swedish vendor Fractal Designs to exclusively bring its products to the UK.
Fractal Designs specialises in creating PC cases, power supply units, cooling solutions and media centre products that feature a high level of stylisation.
Its flagship PC case, the Define R2, which features a seamless front panel and ModuVent technology, has received a huge amount of interest from Quiet PC customers, according to the firm.
“The PC peripheral market is reasonably mature, and although here at Quiet PC we frequently receive manufacturer product pitches, it’s rare that we see anything which is genuinely new, different or significantly better than current offerings,” commented Quiet
PC’s managing director, Glenn Garrett. “When Fractal Design first approached us, we were impressed by its pitch but even more so by its products.”
“It was clear how serious it was about taking market share quickly, given the high build quality of its offerings and innovative design features. With the announcement of its Define R2 computer case, we’ve never seen so much interest from end users and resellers prior to stock availability. It’s the design and execution of the products which brings enthusiasm to the market,” continued Garrett.
Fractal joins Scythe, Zalman and Arctic Cooling in Quiet PC’s brand portfolio, all of which have recently helped it become a key distributor and reseller of noise reduction products in the UK.
