VIP Computers and Razer sponsor 19-year-old Jordan Gill

Pro boxer to promote Razer Nabu and other wearable tech

Distributor VIP Computers and gaming/devices vendor Razer have announced a partnership with one of the world’s youngest professional boxers: Jordan ‘The Thrill’ Gill.

The 19-year-old is an up-and-coming boxer with nine comfortable wins since transcending from amateur ranks. He will become the face of the two companies’ combined promotions until the end of 2015. He will promote wearable tech and use the upcoming Razer Nabu smart band in training.

Gill said: "I am very happy to have partnered with Razer and VIP. The sponsorship helps me focus 100 per cent on training which is exactly what I need to ensure I reach the heights of professional boxing.

"I’m looking forward to getting my hands on the Razer Nabu to help track my progress in training and my sleeping patterns, which is extremely important for me to tailor my diet, rest days and general lifestyle around."

VIP director Rich Marsden added: “Jordan is now at the stage in his career where he is working towards becoming a champion boxer. Our new range of wearable tech lifestyle products will without doubt help him on his journey. Over the forthcoming weeks and months, Jordan will front a host of knockout deals from VIP, so look out for them for some fantastic offers.”

VIP will distribute the Razer Nabu to the trade when it launches later this year.
