Apple to unveil iPad 5, iPad Mini 2 and iPhone 6 in September

Apple is expected to announce its fifth-gen iPad in September, along with the iPad Mini 2 and iPhone 6.

The iPad 5 is expected to have no bezels and be slimmer than previous models. In May, PCR reported that the new iPad will incorporate glass within its Retina display.

PS4 UK release date November, say PC World and Currys

The PlayStation 4 (PS4) WILL be released in the UK this November, according to retailers PC World and Currys.

The pair has just revealed their Top Ten Tech Gifts for Christmas 2013 list, with Microsoft’s Xbox One at number one and Sony’s PS4 second.

GTA 5 rumoured for PC, to be playable at Gamescom 2013?

GTA 5 could be heading to PC – and a version of the game is rumoured to be playable at the 2013 Gamescom show.

GTA 5 is due to hit UK shelves on September 17th on Xbox 360 and PS3, but a job ad on developer Rockstar Games’ website suggests it could be heading to PC too.

Xbox One built with "advertising in mind"

Next-generation video games console Xbox One has been designed with "advertising in mind", Microsoft has said.

The Xbox’s gesture and voice accessory, Kinect, is a versatile piece of kit. It can be used to play games, even mend broken bones, and of course, learn about the user to deliver advertising.

LG unveils world’s slimmest 1080p smartphone LCD

LG Display has introduced a Full HD smartphone LCD measuring just 2.2mm thick.

The firm boasts that this is the world’s slimmest 1080p LCD panel designed for mobile devices.
