Select group of retailers will offer frontline knowledge and expertise

PCR launches new Retail Advisory Panel

The PCR Retail Advisory Panel is a 15-strong select group of retailers and retail organisations, representing the buyers and decision makers that help shape technology retail.

This advisory panel will form an important part of the magazine’s coverage of the PC and tech retail trade going forward, and help direct and address the issues which are important to retailers at store and head office level.

“This gives us the benefit of our Panel’s frontline knowledge and expertise in the issues that matter to retailers up and down the country,” said PCR publisher Lisa Carter.

“No one knows more about the daily challenges that technology dealers face and their knowledge will help focus and shape our coverage towards the subjects that they want to see tackled.

“In fact, anyone in the industry is welcome to make a suggestion to us if there is a subject they would like to see covered.”

The members of the panel will also be responsible for picking the winner of the new Special Recognition accolade at the PCR Awards 2013.

There are 15 key retail figures in total on the Panel.

Representing indies through to franchises are: Craig Hume, Utopia Computers; Jason Eccles, SimplyFixIT; CK, Yoyotech; Jat Mann, PC Pal; Lorelei Gibb, Dolphin Upgrades.

Larger retailers and etailers that feature in the Panel are: Dean Kramer, Dixons Retail; Jonpaul Warren, Maplin; Duncan Rutherford, Dabs.com; Phil Browes, HMV; Ketu Patel, Amazon; Sarah Jasper, Zavvi.com.

Representing the trade organisations are: Iain Shaw, Brigantia; William Linard, CompTIA; Phylip Morgan, Network Group; Chris Butterworth, Synaxon.
