PCR Boot Camp: Put your store on the (Google) Map

Search engine specialist John Straw will show those attending this year’s PCR Boot Camp how to promote their businesses via Google Maps.

Founder and CEO of SEO business Linkdex, Straw was an early pioneer in digital, starting one of the first search marketing agencies in 1999. He set up Linkdex in 2008, with the firm attracting some £3m in venture funding from London and Silicon Valley.

His discussion at PCR Boot Camp, ‘How To Put Your Store on the (Google) Map’, will investigate how to take advantage of consumers using smartphones to search for local businesses. Notably, he’ll show how your store can beat the competition to the top slot in Google listings.

Now in its second year, PCR Boot Camp is a trade event aimed at maximising sales and giving practical advice that you can take away to improve your business.

The event takes place on Wednesday May 29th, 2013 at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London.

The day is free for dealers to attend and will include a conference session in the morning, with a number of sessions on improving business.

After a free lunch, the expo will open, featuring the market’s biggest manufacturers and distributors.

In addition, there will be a series of ‘Break-Out Sessions’ during the afternoon, giving distributors and manufacturers the opportunity to present technical or service sessions with smaller groups of dealers.

An after-show drinks reception will provide networking opportunities to round off the day. And all dealers will go home with a VIP Gift Bag.

The UK’s top 250 retailers are set to attend the event – interested dealers can register at www.pcrbootcamp.com/dealer-registration.
