We talk to Exertis Gem’s head of marketing and creative services Katie Rawlings about what the distributor will be showing off at Boot Camp.
What products and services will you be promoting at Boot Camp this year?
Consumer electronics is a huge focus for us this year. We’re delighted that three of our exclusive brands will be attending the event with us including Roku, Leap Motion, Livescribe as well as Nuance.
The event will allow retailers to get hands-on with all of the products available from these brands including the new TV Streaming Stick from Roku and the Leap Motion controller.
In your opinion, what’s the most important thing for retailers and resellers to bear in mind when dealing with customers?
It goes without saying that tech savvy consumers are not afraid to shop around for the product they want at a great price, however there is a lot to be said for great customer service and a smooth shopping experience both in stores and online. Placement and positioning to help customers choose the right products, along with knowledgeable staff and excellent after-sale care – this will certainly aid repeat business and referrals.
