With the PCR Awards fast approaching, the five finalists in the Special Recognition category have been revealed.
The award highlights individual excellence in the channel, and is decided on by the PCR Retail Advisory Board – made up of the UK’s key tech retailers.
The winner will be announced at the PCR Awards 2014, held at the Royal Garden Hotel on Thursday March 13th.

The finalists are:
Derek Jones, UK MD, Synaxon
Having led the UKlaunch of Germany-based Synaxon in 2009, Jones has since directed the UK business and helped launch online marketplace SynMarket in 2013.
Iain Shaw, divisional director, Brigantia
Founder and director of the group for small to medium-size computer solutions providers, Shaw has led Brigantia to establish a wide portfolio of services and products.
Jon Atherton, VP, Entatech
2013 was a fantastic year for Entatech director Atherton, leading the company to achieve 18 per cent year-on-year growth and open a new southern sales office.
Rafi Razzak, founder, Centerprise
Centerprise founder Razzak has led the firm to its success today. He is also a director and investor in OnBuy, and acquired system builder YoYoTech in 2013.
Alex Tatham, MD, Westcoast
A renowned sales and marketing director, Tatham doubled the revenues of the sales team under hisleadership and oversaw the team’s subsequent expansion.
