Software giant Microsoft was the star of the show at last night's PCR Awards 2010, taking home Software Publisher, Campaign on the Year, as well as the prestigious Grand Prix award.
Elsewhere in the vendor category, Apple won gadget of the year for the iPhone 3GS, after a year of critical acclaim and commercial growth for the brand.
Acer meanwhile picked up the Hardware Manufacturer prize, and Kingston Technology was named best Specialist Vendor.
The ceremony was held in Kensington's lavish Royal Garden Hotel, and saw over 300 members of the UK PC and technology trade gathering together to celebrate the successes of the year.
