DSGi has announced that it is planning to launch a consumer lifestyle magazine aimed at customers shopping in its PC World stores. The magazine will focus on 'the digital lifestyle' and will feature several of its products photographed in 'real-life' situations with interview-style editorial.
It will also look to give vendors and partners the chance to promote the products that PC World stocks to its customers.
DSGi is planning on launching the magazine in two separate stages, with the firm initially sending a pilot version to 100,000 families, to be followed by the main launch, which will see over 800,000 copies to be distributed to stores and to be sent to its customers through direct mail.
