Virgin has announced that it has signed up PC World as one of its partner for the launch of upcoming flagship channel, Virgin 1.
The channel, due to be launched on Monday has already signed L'Oréal, Lexus and British Airways to appear in its first ad break after its 9pm launch. PC World will sponsor peak time Virgin 1 television shows such as The Riches, The Unit and Criminal Mind.
The deal, which starts on October 8th, will include idents prior to the show, during breaks and at the end of the programmes.
Virgin also revealed that Vauxhall will be advertising partner for the next two series of America's Top Model.
Virgin 1 will be available on Freeview, cable and satellite. Its website will launch alongside the channel on October 1st. A campaign to support the launch promising to deliver 'proper telly' begins on Friday September 28.
