PC processor shipments have reached record levels for the second quarter running, growing 8.5 per cent over the previous quarter, according to IDC. IDC also revealed that although more processors were shipped, less money was made on each one.
“For the full year 2007, total worldwide PC processor shipments grew 12.6 per cent compared to 2006. Total revenues grew 1.7 per cent to $30.55 billion,” stated IDC.
