Orange to sell iPhone SIM-free for ?749

Orange to sell iPhone SIM-free for ?749 The SIM-free version of Apple's iPhone will be sold by Orange, in France, for a total of €749 (£535) following a ruling by the French courts earlier this year.

The device will be available direct from Orange's stores, with a €100 unlocking fee included in €749 figure. Alternatively, Orange has said that it will unlock all iPhones upon customer request, for free, after six months if those customers are on one of its 12 or 24 month contracts.

Orange will also offer the phone for €549 (£390) if taken out on a rolling contract.
