Opal has described the completion of TalkTalk Group's £236m purchase of Tiscali as 'exciting' for its reseller partners.
The B2B division of TalkTalk Group's business has 350 wholesale partners, and has a number of deals in the IT channel – the latest of which was DMSL.
Over 130,000 customers will be integrated into the broadband provider's small business division.
Opal's managing director Paul Lawton said the deal would benefit both its reseller partners and new business customers. "We are very excited about the opportunities that the combination of these two businesses will create. Tiscali's technical heritage and existing product set aligns well with our own, and Tiscali's existing customers will benefit from our industry leading customer service."
