Performance memory specialists OCZ have unveiled a range of new SSD drives in SAS, SAS, Fibre Channel and PCI-express formats.
OCZ unveiled 6Gbps MLC-based Vertex 3 Pro SSDs which the firm said were built with the next generation of SandForce controller technology with the capability of 80,000 IOPS and 550MB/s transfer rates.
The firm also announced the Z-Drive R3 PCI-Express SSD, the firm’s first SandForce-powered PCI-Express SSD for the enterprise market. The Z-Drive R3 manages transfer rates over 1GB/s and 135,000 IOPS while offering up to and up to 1.2TB of capacity.
OCZ also announced the ZX Series of high capacity power supplies featuring 80-Plus Gold efficiency and available in 850W, 1KW, and 1.2KW configurations.
