O2 has moved to squash suggestions that it and Apple are preparing a deal that would see the Cupertino-based firm bundle its MacBook range with mobile broadband, as reported by PC Retail on Friday.Speaking to The Register, a spokeswoman for O2 said that it has: "no such plans to launch an Apple MacBook laptop offer," adding that the initial report from Mobile Today was "untrue".
The report of the move was widely seen as a response by O2 and Apple to the rise of netbook mobile broadband bundles.
