Nokia has initiated another round of legal action against Apple, claiming that the Cupertino firm has violated seven patents in most of its products.
According to Reuters, the Finnish phone giant has filed a claim with the International Trade Commission that Apple has infringed patents in “virtually all of its mobile phones, portable music players, and computers.”
The legal action has been initiated separately, as the ITC cannot decide the awarding of damages.
This latest round of legal wrangling follows a similar suit made in October last year, that alleged that Apple iPhone was “attempting to get a free ride on the back of Nokia's innovation.”
Apple replaced Nokia as the world’s most profitable mobile phone vendor in September last year.
