Handset giant Nokia is accelerating its efficiency drive in light of current economic conditions with job cuts in its Devices and Markets units, Corporate Development Office and global support division.The company says it plans to scale sales, marketing and technology management to match its "pruned" portfolio and reduced global consumer demand.
