Nokia's flagship store delayed

Nokia's flagship store delayed Nokia has announced that it will delay the opening of its new flagship store on Regent Street, London.

In a statement released to the press, on Monday, Nokia said: "Due to recent challenges over access and infrastructure at the site of Nokia's new London Regent Street flagship store, we have made the decision to delay the opening until after the holiday season.

"In addition to the factors already mentioned, the UK summer weather contributed to the delay by producing one of the wettest summers on record, which severely reduced the available construction time.

"A new opening date will be announced in the New Year. The new store at 240 Regent Street will be the UK's first Nokia flagship store and will be joined by a further flagship store at London Heathrow's Terminal 5 when it opens in March 2008."
