Rumours have emerged suggesting that the developers of Dead Island, which grabbed the number one spot in the games charts earlier this year, are already working on an as-yet-unannounced sequel.
Siliconera has reported that developer Techland has filed a trademark for Dead World in the US, which hints at either a sequel or expanded game world in the future for the franchise. We always thought the zombies of Banoi wanted more space to stretch their rotting legs.
Dead Island, published by Deep Silver, has already inspired a film - studio Lionsgate bought the rights after being 'awestruck' by the trailer.
