New product roundup: Samsung announces new TVs, PNY unveils PowerPacks

This week Samsung has announced a series of new products, including a range of SUHD TVs that feature new premium Ultra High Definition content. The range will be shown at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. Other monitors the company will be showcasing include Smart Signage TVs.

Samsung has also expanded its printer portfolio with the new MX7 printer. It features a Quad core CPU to help reduce wait times and offers image quality with 1200 dpi printing.

Cooler Master has released its latest mouse pad, available in small, medium and large. The Swift-RX has been created with finely textured microscopic mesh, with pricing starting at £6.99.

iPhone 6 and 6 Plus owners can capture images with up to 80x more magnification with Olloclip’s new Macro 3-in-1 lens. Olloclip has also launched the Telephoto Lens, which features a fixed 2x magnification optical lens.

The Olloclip Telephoto lens retails for £89.99 and the Olloclip Macro 3-in-1 lens retails for £59.99 – both are available now.

StarTech has released a new 2-in-1 Mini DisplayPort to HDMI or VGA adapter, which enables mobile users to connect their Mini DisplayPort equipped laptop to either an HDMI or VGA display. The device costs £31.99 and will be available from Entatech, Ingram Micro and Exertis.

A selection of PowerPacks have been unveiled by PNY. The M3000 and LM3000 can provide power to smartphones, while the CL51 can power up action cameras. Lastly, the T10400 can charge tablets. Prices start at £22.99.

In addition, Kingston has launched a pair of next-gen encrypted USB Flash drives. The DataTraveler 4000 Gen 2 and DataTraveler 4000 Gen 2 Management Ready help to protect sensitive information.

In other news, GV Multi-media has completed its rollout of Panasonic projectors at Kingston University.170 Panasonic PT-RZ370 laser/LED projectors were installed as part of a £30 million investment towards improving IT facilities at the university.

From February 10th to 12th BenQ will be showcasing its range of visual display solutions at the ISE 2015 show. The company will also unveil its line-up of interchangeable lens and fix-lens high brightness projectors.
