Dixons Retail has opened a new two-in-one Currys and PC World Megastore in Cardiff.
The 30,519 square foot unit has created 35 new jobs in the local area and carries thousands of products including TVs, digital cameras and MP3 players.
According to Dixons, the new store has a number of ‘play tables’, where customers can pick up and test certain products before they buy them.
Store director Steve Roach said: “The new two-in-one Megastore in Cardiff brings together the best from both Currys and PC World and offer shoppers a great range of consumer electronics. The store opening is also a boost to the local economy with new jobs created.”
The store employees have all taken part in a new training programme designed by Dixons.
