CompTIA has launched a new e-learning platform which will aim to help people train to be network technicians quicker than other traditional courses.
Early trials of the e-learning method helped technicians achieve an 80 per cent knowledge retention rate and taught them how to troubleshoot networks up to 75 per cent faster than before.
The tech uses Artificial Intelligence to make each learning experience a personalised one for every student.
Learners will be able to study the newly-released CompTIA Network+ exam, using a learning algorithm that tracks each person’s memory capacity, confidence and aptitude.
Thomas Reilly, vice president of CompTIA, said: “Each learner has a distinct path going through the product, a learning fingerprint.
“Throughout the course the learner is exposed to four key motivational triggers: progression, risk, achievement and curiosity. Working in combination, these triggers create a positive feedback loop for the learner.”
The platform combines key principles of brain science, neurobiology, cognitive psychology and game study, which will apparently help the student master the information they need to know.
The program allows the student to work at their own pace. It is also completely mobile optimised for iOS and Android, making it accessible wherever the learner is.
Recently, CompTIA launched an exam that aimed to help governments battle cyber threats.
