Former internet browsing giant Netscape has released the beta version of its latest browser software – Netscape Navigator 9.0 Beta 1.Users of Mozilla’s Firefox browser will instantly be at home with the software, as it is based on the recently released Firefox 2. As well as boasting a similar user interface, it is also compatible with existing Firefox add-ons and themes.
New features include the automatic correction of URL typos, as well as the addition of an on-screen mini-browser and news menu bar. The free download can be found here.
