Networking equipment specialist Netgear is set introduce the N750 dual band gigabit wi-fi router.
Announced nearly four months ago, the high-end Netgear N750 has appeared for sale in the US priced at $149. The N750 has 5GHz and 2.4GHZ wi-fi radios, capable of 450Mbps and 300Mbps respectfully, the firm claims.
The radios are independent so seperate 802.11n clients operating on 2.4 and 5GHz bands will have their own access to the available bandwidth.
In addition to speedy wi-fi and four gigabit ethernet ports, the N750 has a USB port which can be used to add solid state or hard drive storage to be shared over the network via a built-in DLNA media server.
