DisplayBank has said that netbook demand will plateau next year at around one-fifth of the mobile computing market.According to the analyst firm, netbooks accounted for around 17.2 per cent of the market in 2008, with that expected to grow to around 18.9 per cent by the end of this year.
However, year on year growth is expected to slow, with the market growing by 24.45 per cent this year on 2008. That is in contrast to the 79 per cent growth of 2008 compared to 2007.
It added that it doesn't anticipate the netbook market to break the 20 per cent mark until at least 2012.
