The National Buying Group is entering an expansion phase, having seen success with its selective membership and clear strategy.
Seeing its core offering as group negotiation alongside group purchasing, the NBG runs joint marketing initiatives and operates in a sphere of collaborative effort encompassing both B2C and B2B companies under the auspices of its ‘CIA’ tagline – collaborate, innovate, accelerate. The success brought by this strategy has boosted its profile, putting it in a strong position for further growth.
“We’ve just crossed 50 members,” said the NBG’s managing director Phylip Morgan. “As you know I was taken on from February 1st to bring the group forward. At the time I joined, there were 43 members, and we will have 60 members by the end of this year. Additionally, by the end of next year we will have 100 members.”
