In the second part of this month's Mystery Shopper, our undercover agent visits technology retail stalwarts PC World, Currys and Comet to find out how they performed when asked about all-in-one PCs.
PC World performed the best out of today's three stores, narrowly missing out on beating John Lewis, which put in a superb effort on Friday.
According to the Mystery Shopper, the manager of the PC World store in Liverpool comprehensively covered the PC and Apple alternatives, as well as software available for both. However, some slight discrepancies in her knowledge knocked two points off leaving it with a respectable. 8/10
Comet also faired well, with the staff member displaying a desire to help "without hesitation". It only lost out on points due to not offering Apple as an alternative and a lack of product literature. It scored 7/10.
Currys performed the worst this month, only managing 4/10, after its member of staff failed to understand the question and then directed the Mystery Shopper to its website without making any effort to check if it did stock all-in-one PCs.
