Microsoft to give away Office 365 at PCR Boot Camp

Microsoft is to provide every attendee of PCR Boot Camp with a complimentary subscription to its Office 365 software.

The tech giant, which is also headline partner of the conference and expo, will be holding 40 minute training sessions based around the technology of Office 365 and Tech Data’s Activate-here ESD software solution in the Microsoft James Watt room throughout the event.

On completion of the training, each participant will receive a complimentary one-year subscription to the Office 365 Home software, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as OneDrive cloud storage, for up to five PCs or Macs, plus five iPads or Windows tablets and five smartphones.

The one-year subscription currently retails at a price of £79.99 (inc. VAT).

The TD Activate-here service allows retailers and resellers to offer direct software downloads to consumers for software such as Office 365, allowing them to increase their software-attach sales and reduce the costs associated with ordering and providing boxed products.

Retailers who offer the digital service can deliver all fully packaged products in real time via software download without having to hold any stock.

PCR Boot Camp will take place on Wednesday May 21st at The Brewery in London. Resellers and retailers wishing to attend can sign up for free via the Boot Camp website.
