Microsoft has revealed that it currently has no plans to launch Equipt in the UK, but it is monitoring the situation and may change its mind in the near future. The service was launched in US retailer Circuit City earlier this month, but Microsoft had been coy up until this point on any possible UK roll out.
However, speaking to PC Retail, a Microsoft spokewoman said: "Microsoft Equipt is currently being offered on a limited basis in US retail and is not available for broad distribution. However, Microsoft will be closely monitoring customer feedback and demand."
