Microsoft is working with Apple to overcome reported problems with logging in to its Hotmail email client from an iPad.
According to Mac World, users have reported a numbe of issues when trying to use the service, including the Safari browser freezing and the inability to compose or reply to messages.
At this time, Microsoft is redirecting iPad users to its mobile Hotmail portal, which is unaffected due to its minimal interface.
“Unfortunately, we’ve seen some issues with using Hotmail on the new Apple iPad. Specifically, composing and replying to an email is not working for some of our users,” wrote Hotmail program manager Mike Schackwitz on the Windows Team Blog.
“Rest assured that we’re working with Apple to understand the issues, and we’ll fix them as quickly as possible.”
