Microsoft has signed a patent agreement with Amazon to allow the two firms to share certain technologies.
Few details have been disclosed about the deal, however, Reuters reports that Amazon will use Microsoft’s tech across a number of areas including the Kindle e-reader, and its Linux servers.
Microsoft told Retuers that Amazon would pay it an undisclosed sum under the patent licence agreement.
