The Zooka connects with any Bluetooth-enabled devices

Micro-P brings the Zooka wireless speaker to the UK

The B2B and retail distributor has teamed up with Kickstarter success story Carbon Audio to exclusively distribute the Zooka.

The Zooka Kickstarter campaign exceeded its backing target of $25,000 – hitting a total of $70,540 with 678 backers. The Zooka has since gone into production and has already gained a celebrity following, including a recommendation on Janet Jackson’s blog.

Phil Brown, commercial director from Micro-P commented, "The Zooka is the perfect affordable accessory for gadget and sound fans, making it a product that will fly off the shelves. We’re proud to be working with Carbon Audio and look forward to getting the Zooka onto those shelves, giving our retailers an exciting and lucrative new revenue stream."

Priced at £79.99, the Zooka connects with Bluetooth-enabled devices to enable users to play games, listen to music and watch movies fives times louder. The 3.5mm input jack means that the speaker can be used with other non-Bluetooth devices as well.

"Our aim is to provide stylish, convenient and affordable portable speakers that give a powerful kick to your music, movies and media," commented Mark Schneider, CEO of Carbon Audio. "We’re excited to be working with Micro-P to bring the Zooka to the UK market and help consumers get the most out of the audio from their gadgets."
