Buying group members to benefit from preferential rates on Sitecom products

Meroncourt joins Brigantia

Brigantia has announced that Meroncourt has become the latest associate distributor in the buying group.

The deal means that Sitecom’s products will be available to members at preferential rates from March.

"I am very pleased to see Meroncourt joining us as a Brigantia associate distributor," commented Iain Shaw, founder of Brigantia, speaking to PC Retail. "It is a distributor that I have been asked about by members for a number of years and it is excellent that we have been able to agree advantageous terms and conditions with it for our membership.

He also indicated that the buying group is currently instigating a review of its partners, in order to ensure its members are receiving the best deal possible.

"Meroncourt’s new associate membership comes at a time when we are reviewing many long standing agreements with our supportive distributors," added Shaw.

"We are looking to find better terms and conditions for our membership that have loyally supported schemes with their considerable trade, but who now want to see this loyalty better rewarded or new schemes brought in to replace those that have perhaps gone past their sell by date."

"In February following a review ASBIS was dropped as an associate distributor. March sees a review with Ingram Micro when we hope to enhance the terms and conditions available to members while at the same time increasing corporate buy-in to the Brigantia Computer Experts opportunity across all relevant departments within the distribution giant."
