EA has confirmed that Spore, one of the most anticipated games of the year, will be released for the Mac later in the year.Spore is being developed by Will Wright, creator of The Sims and Sim City, and allows players to create their own galaxy, right down to the tiniest amoeba. The game is also due for Nintendo DS, PCs and mobile phones.
The game will be on show all week at the MacWorld Expo in San Francisco.
