Sales of the iPhone are expected to drive Mac sales even higher, with analysts Needham & Co predicting that the handset may sell as many as 30 million units during 2009.Analyst Charles Wolf made the prediction in his note to investors, adding that he expects the device to have as many as 150 million users within ten years.
It is not all good news for Apple though with Wolf warning that increase sales of iPhone are likely to have a significant impact on sales of its iPod range, predicting a fall of as much as 30 per cent in the medium terms.
