Mac sales jumped by 50 per cent in April compared to the same point in 2007, and far faster than the 17 per cent the rest of the PC market increased during April, noted Lehman Brother's analyst Ben Reitzes to clients on Tuesday.Revenues for the division were also up at 46 per cent, according to Reitzes who was citing research released by NPD, and reported on by PC Retail earlier this week.
He added that it is looking increasingly likely that the firm will introduce new models of its laptop range in July, ready for the back-to-school season; with it looking increasingly likely that they will follow the styling of its Air model, according to his research.
