The London Underground will gain Wi-Fi access in time for the 2012 Olympic Games, according to Transport for London.
120 stations will be decked out with underground web access with TfL's strategy and service boss Gareth Powell saying that the organisation was in the final stages of a tender process for companies to operate the network.
"London Underground is continuing with preparations to install the necessary infrastructure and is on schedule to complete the project as planned," Powell said.
TfL said that an announcement on the provider would be made later in the spring which they said was "leaving plenty of time" for delivery ahead of the games.
Cutting it a bit fine aren't they?
