Logitech has unveiled the Wireless Mouse M325 which the firm says delivers a better mix of precision and comfort.
Taking the mouse DPI war to a fresh battleground, the Logitech Wireless Mouse M325 is said to incorporate a new micro-precise scroll wheel with 72 ratchets instead of the more usual 18 or 24.
Logitech said that the ratchets were small enough that the wheel spins smoothly and allows for precise control of scrolling through websites, spreadsheets and presentations.
As with other Logitech wireless mice, the M325 is based on the firm's tiny Unifying receiver which, Logitech points out, can stay in a laptop when not being used.
The new mouse is due to begin shipping later this month with a price of £30 in the UK and $40 in the US.
