Peripheral specialist Logitech has introduced the Logitech 'Couch Mouse' M515 which the firm says is designed for better browsing on the couch, bed or carpet.
The M515 sports what Logitech call an 'easy-gliding base' so that the mouse can better slide across household furniture or wherever the computer user may be accessing their PC, laptop or home theatre PC.
Logitech said the M515 is only active when gripping it so the cursor doesn't move because someone sat down on the couch. The aggressive sleep modes mean that the wireless M515 is good for up to two years of battery life too.
The company also said that the M515 has a sealed sensor so that it wont get clocked up with 'fabric fuzz' or, presumably, belly button fluff.
The Logitech M515 Couch Mouse is set to be priced at $49.99 in the US when it launches in April with no European pricing available yet but you can probably expect a near one to one currency conversion.
