Lenovo has announced three new ThinkStation desktop workstations, marking the first time a major PC manufacturer has detailed a product based on Intel’s next-gen processor.
The three workstations will support the new Haswell-E Xeon with the P500 supporting one processor and the P700 and P900 being dual-capable.
The P Series features completely tool-less access to components and a USB-based diagnostic port, allowing users to download an error log to an Android or Windows Phone app where it can then be forwarded to the ThinkStation website.
All three Lenovo ThinkStation P Series desktop workstations are expected to be available in October.
