Lenovo has unveiled its first fitness band, the Smartband SW-B100.
The device can track daily exercise, sleep and heart rate and has customised notifications to ‘help improve work and life efficiency’.
It will also allow the wearer to automatically log in on a PC without entering a password and can show missed calls from a mobile phone.
Available in blue and orange, the Smartband SW-B100 is compatible with iOS, Android and Windows Phone devices.
There are currently no details on pricing or availability but it is thought that Lenovo will start shipping the fitness tracker before the holiday shopping season.
Back in august, Lenovo revealed that it was now selling more smartphones than computers, so expanding on its mobile technology offering seems like a smart move. With that said, the firm did announced three new Yoga Tablet devices this month – one of which comes with a built-in projector.
Lenovo’s Smartband SW-B100 may sound familiar. That’s because Sony released a fitness tracker called the SmartBand SWR10 earlier this year.
