Kingston ramps up gaming offering

Kingston ramps up gaming offering Kingston Technology is aiming to increase its share of the specialist gaming hardware market with the launch of its HyperX range of memory modules, designed specially for overclocking.

Speaking to CRN's Nick Booth about the launch of the new range, Kingston's sales manager Ann Keefe said: "These modules are designed and qualified in-house through careful selection of memory components that are assembled and thoroughly tested for high-end performance.

"In addition, all HyperX memory modules carry special heat spreaders for optimum thermal diffusion to avoid overheating."

Keefe said that the company would be looking to market the devices to retailers, etailers and system integrators.

She added that the vendor would also be offering resellers and distributors marketing support for the range, such is the company's commitment to increasing its share in the gaming market.

"This is a people business, so service makes all the difference," she added.
