Kesa Electricals has announced the sale of its French retail arm BUT to a consortium of private investors, led by Decomeubles Partners SAS for €550 million.The BUT group is the smaller of Kesa's two French retailers – the other being Darty – with around 3.6 per cent of the French electrical market.
It is expected that the offer will be put in front of shareholders in the next few days with the deal expected to be compete by the middle of March.
