Kesa is rumoured to be considering a sale of the Comet retail chain, and delisting its shares from the London Stock Exchange.
According to Retail Week, if a sale cannot be agreed, Kesa’s board would propose a loan restructuring that would involve Comet going into administration and a number of store closures.
The sale or administration of the UK retail chain would allow Kesa to concentrate on its French Darty business, which remains profitable.
