John Lewis has come out top for customer service, scoring 90.9 per cent in the latest UK Consumer Satisfaction Index.
According to Institute of Customer Service, which runs the survey, John Lewis has become the first retailer to score more than 90 per cent from the sample of 25,000 adults.
"It is really rewarding to hear such positive feedback when our customers are polled about the service they receive," commented managing director of John Lewis.
"We are making every effort to constantly improve the customer experience in our branches and will keep our focus on delivering inspiring products, great value and differentiated service."
