John Lewis has revealed its sales figures for January, reporting that sales grew by 15.6 per cent in the final week.
According to ERT Online, sales for the electricals and home technology (EHT) department were strong, with particularly good performance for imaging and IT products.
In addition, its website ended the trading year with growth of 19 per cent.
“EHT built on many years of success with another market-beating result,” said the managing director of John Lewis, Andy Street. “The stars were imaging and IT, alongside both electrical buyerships where ferocious attention to differentiation from the competition has seen us home.”
